It's interesting. What is our purpose? Does it change as we get older, wiser, gain more experience in life. Does it change when we go through experiences that shape and shift us. Does this purpose change when we realise we belong to Allah - and nothing is quite as significant as that.
Hijab serves a purpose too. But even then, we struggle with it.
